This 91 hour Permaculture Design Certificate course is a comprehensive  introduction to permaculture principles and practices. You will learn a variety of practical knowledge and skills that can be applied in daily life for immediate benefits.

Upon completion you will receive an internationally recognised Permaculture Design Certificate.This opens up a myriad of opportunities to begin to apply the knowledge and skills – both  personally, to improve your own environment and everyday life – and  professionally, designing permaculture systems, implementation of designs and teaching permaculture to others.

This course will empower you to become more resourced and resilient, and will arm you with the knowledge of how to create abundant thriving landscapes that benefit all life.

Introduction

Course Description

The course covers sustainable living systems for a wide variety of landscapes and climates. It includes the application of permaculture principles to food production, home design, construction, energy conservation and generation, and explores alternative economic structures supporting permaculture solutions. Students are invited to bring details of their own sites or potential sites to consider during the course.

About Kushala

Kushala is a Permaculture designer, consultant, teacher, and builder of permaculture systems, and has over 30 years experience as an artisan landscaper & designer, with an interest in Feng Shui and sacred geometry.

Permaculture related training:

  • PDC & Advanced PDC with Pete the Permie
  • Diploma of Permaculture (RPL)
  • Permaculture Earthworks, Hydrology & Farm Design with David Spicer & Danial Lawton
  • Food Forests & Crop Gardens – with Geoff Lawton
  • Aquaponics Design Course – with Murray Hallam
  • Water Stories – water cycle restoration with Zach Weiss

He lived in an intentional community in the Yarra Valley from 1990 – 1995, that had an early permaculture design from Permaculture co-founder David Holmgren – learning about food production, animal husbandry and land management.

Kushala was involved in community development work with Pathways Foundation in th- supporting and assisting in rite of passage camps for teenage boys and fathers in Victoria, NSW and Tasmania. He completed leadership training in running rites of passage with Dr. Arne Rubenstein.

Kushala is passionate about sharing permaculture as an empowering solution for our times. He brings a wide range of skills and experience to support people to become more resilient, self reliant, and to thrive now and into the future.
